This shows that our target market is mainly the 16 to 18 age category.
This shows that the most common way to get songs is by downloading them for free so when we release our song and music video we have to ensure that there is a way people can download it. The only problem with this is that if people download music for free the music industry will get and profits so the artist will not make any money.
This shows that the most common way of accessing music videos is through the Internet, mainly YouTube, as it is a free website which is easy to access and can be accessed by anyone.
This result shows that, out of the people surveyed, most of the participants listened to R'n'B but an equal amount listened to Hip Hop which is good for us to know as we now know that we have a large target market to appease.
Here is a graph showing the results of our previouse question in a way that is easier for us to analyse.
Although the majority of our participants said that they never watched Hip Hop videos, the second highest majority watched them almost everyday which is beneficial for us as they have an insight into what a Hip Hop video has to contain.
This shows that a vast majority of the people surveyed have heard of some Hip Hop/Grime artists.
These results are vety useful to us as we can see what the audience expect to see in a music video for our genre and this will help us to know what to put in it.
All in all, this survey has been very beneficial for us as it has allowed us to gain deeper knowledge about our target market and what they want to see in a Hip Hop music video.
