Preliminary Task

The preliminary task was to produce a music video for the song 'In The Sun by She and Him'. This is my preliminary music video. I think that the the music video is effective because the lip syncing is in time with the lyrics of the song although several of the shots are muffled and it is hard to work out what is being said by the actor so in my next video I will get the actors to over exaggerate the lyrics so they can be recognised by the audience. Another good thing about the music video is how effective the cuts are as they do not interrupt the flow of the music but if I were to create another i would use several locations to avoid viewer fatigue. Another good point about the video is that there are several actors who are involved in it but if i was to create another I believe that more people would make a more interesting video so this would also help avoid viewer fatigue helping me to make a more succesful music video.
